Yalova University, a young and dynamic university, was established in 2008. As a rapidly growing new university, Yalova University has attracted attention among the newly established universities with its studies, achievements, and differences, and has become competing with well-established universities in a short time. The university has strong academic and experienced administrative staff, strong national and international relations, and geographical advantage. The university is located close to the important centres of Turkey such as Istanbul and Bursa.

The university aims to increase the level of success by fulfilling all the requirements of universal education besides specializing in agricultural sciences and technologies.

Yalova University has 2 institutes, 5 faculties, 1 college, and 4 vocational schools. The university has 29 associate, 57 undergraduate, 43 graduate, and 11 doctoral programs. Approximately 15,000 students study at 5 campuses of Yalova University and 525 academic staff work. The University has an International Student Coordination Office that deals with all kinds of foreign students. Yalova University has opened 480 foreign quotas for this year.
