About the University

Near East University (NEU) is a private university located in Northern Cyprus. It was founded in 1988 and located in Nicosia which reflects the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area.

The Near East University currently has 20 faculties offering 440+ programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With over 25,000 students, it is the largest university in Northern Cyprus. Near East University provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students get ahead. We’re extremely proud of our students and staff, who are always eager to learn, create and grow together.
