Digital media is a growing field with diverse career opportunities.

The most important feature of the new media concept is the digitization of sound, data, text and image that can be transferred, stored, collected and processed on a single substructure. Nowadays, traditional media such as newspapers, radio and TV have a tendency to integrate with each other through new media.

In the light of all these developments, the need for qualified individuals who have the necessary competencies has risen.

The New Media Design Programme at Fenebahçe University combines graphic design, programming and web design in both marketing communication and project management and equips the students with the knowledge and the skills to be active users in all media from visual-printed publishing to internet journalism and all forms of social media, and prepares the graduates for the world of new media.

The graduates will have competencies in production, teamwork, and project management necessary to obtain entry-level positions with media companies, news agencies, businesses and non-profit organizations.

The New Media Bachelor Degree Programme Graduates; will develop the theoretical, technical, and creative skills for working with different types of media.

The graduates will have knowledge of the foundations of multimedia communication and develop excellent technical and design skills as well as strong independent work skills. They will know the role and responsibilities of the media in our global society and gain the knowledge to plan and implement media projects.

The graduates will learn to manage change in media, create effective communications and applications in digital environments. They will understand the interrelationship of new media with other fields and the relationships between technology and culture.
