Nutrition and Dietetics is the study of nutrients, digestion, absorption and the metabolic processes.

Nutrition and Dietetic science is about the vitals for general health and the nutritional fundamentals of diets. Consuming the right types of nutrition is vital for one’s health and a suitable diet is the key to treat and prevent one from illnesses.

Fenerbahce University’s “Nutrition and Dietetics” department offers state-of-the-art technology within the labs and classes as well as instructors who have strong academic back grounds.

The graduates will be equipped with the competencies to put in practice their theoretical knowledge and be able to contribute effectively to the improvement of the nutritional condition and the general health of people and population groups.

The Nutrition and Dietetics Bachelor Degree Programme Graduates; will be equipped with theoretical and practical knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics.

The graduates will gain knowledge on biological sciences, courses on nutrition and diet as well as courses on management, finance, law, and humanitarian studies.

The graduates will develop cognitive and practical skills to complete tasks and resolve problems and have the skills to use methods, materials, tools, and instruments related to the field.

The graduates will have knowledge of the nutritional needs of people in every stage of their lives from infant to old age as well as people with special needs. They will be equipped with communication skills and nutritional consulting skills.

The graduates will be competent with modern nutritional and dietary requirements. They will have the knowledge to design, programme and supervise nutrition programmes. They will be knowledgeable in the design and application of nutritional policy and nutritional interventions.

The graduates will have knowledge of protecting human health against aging conditions and restoring health through dietetic support and treatment. They will be skilled in the practice of Dietetics and the use of innovative methods for nutritional assessment.
