Public Administration is defined as an administrative mechanism functioning among all the problems of society. Public administration is a discipline which examines local and national public organizations, public policies and the process of management and policy implementation. Department of Political Science and Public Administration aims to educate the administrative staff of the public and private sector who are equipped with contemporary knowledge and skills and able to evaluate circumstances and developments of the world and each country. During the Undergraduate education, lessons are varied like political and social sciences, administrative sciences, urbanization and environmental issues, law and so on. Students who graduate from the program can work at all the government institutions, relevant departments of the ministries, private sector enterprises, local governments as a manager, specialist, researcher, administrative staff and administrative judge.

Academic staff of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration are 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 3 assistant professor and 8 teaching assistants. Our department includes four discipline which are Administrative Sciences, Science of Law, Urbanization and Environmental Problems and Political and Social Sciences. Students were accepted at the beginning of academic year of 2012-2013.

Since 2010, there is a graduate program. The aim of our Master’s program is to breed experts in the field of public administration. We have 84 students in our master programme which includes public employees, research assistants and a wide range of private sector employees.
