The aim of the Nutrition and Dietetics Doctorate Program; To train scientists who can analyze social problems in the field of nutrition, bring creative thinking to the fore, produce solutions to the nutrition and health problems of the society, are liberal, scientific, able to think independently, adhere to ethical values, follow the innovations in their field. This program, which has been created at a level to meet the needs of academicians by training the manpower with the qualifications to manage the Nutrition and Dietetics Departments, also, hospitals, etc. It is structured to train dieticians with production, management and organization competence in health institutions and food industry.

Our University 2013 – 2014 academic year which started on Education and Training Institute of Nutrition and Dietetics Health Sciences PhD program is the third in Turkey in the field of nutrition and dietetics, it is the first property opened in Istanbul PhD program. We constantly renew the content of the courses in the Nutrition and Dietetics Doctorate program in the light of new information obtained from current research in the field. With the support of computers connected to the Internet, day-to-day access to new practices and standards is offered, and students are also given the opportunity to present their own knowledge and skills. Experienced faculty members of the Nutrition and Dietetics Doctorate program who have proven their success in their fields transfer their experiences and knowledge to their students. When necessary, two out of 10 students enrolled in the high-quality education program, with the support of faculty members who are experts in their fields from outside the institution, graduated.
