Dicle University Engineering Faculty Mechanical Engineering Department has started to accept students at the undergraduate level since 1993-1994 academic year. Since the 2011-2012 academic year, student admissions to the graduate program have started. There are 5 sub-departments in our department: Manufacturing and Construction, Thermodynamics, Energy, Mechanics and Machine Dynamics and Theory. Our department has Machining, Welding, Material-Mechanical, Internal Combustion Engines and Cooling Technique Laboratories. In our faculty, education is given in our equipped classrooms belonging to our department.

Our academic studies, which aim to train highly qualified mechanical engineers who will contribute to the development of the country, increasingly continue.
