All the theoretical and practical applications of the chain starting from food raw materials in the food industry to the consumer are in the interest of food engineers.

Today, the food engineer has the opportunity to work in a wide range of products covering the production and marketing of food products. Food engineer; In all branches of the food industry and in various public institutions, he can take part in the production planning and process design, production, processing, preservation, quality control and marketing of foodstuffs. Especially in recent years, the importance of food engineering in the field of R&D has increased with the increase of nanotechnology and biotechnology applications in the food industry and the demand for new product development. Again, food engineering has an important place in the efficient use of limited food resources, organic food production / processing, the production of foods with the lowest processing methods, and the development of safer new food processing methods.
