Istinye University SBF Department of Social Work focuses on a goal with its expert academic staff and carefully prepared curriculum: To train competent, sought-after social workers!

In the seventh and eighth semesters of their four-year education, our students carry out the internship practice that will transform their theoretical education into practical applications and skills. Because they are aware that they will improve their knowledge with lessons and their skills with practice.

With the “English Grammar” and “Professional English” courses given in our department, where the language of instruction is Turkish, they reach an English level where they can follow the international literature on social work and graduate as social workers with an international vision.

In addition, our students, if they wish, receive their diplomas by learning to write “social responsibility projects” and “sign language”, two current topics that are very closely related to today’s social workers.
