As the digitalization of the fields that are covering art and design continues today, cartoon and animation department stands out not only with supplying content for moving images in cinema, also for many other fields like entertainement, television, advertisement, education, medical modeling and it’s based on intersection of all these mentioned sectors. Our departement is nourished from all these areas of production and feeds them back as a workforce.

The program, integrated with current design programs, will continue to develop in content quality and original idea production artisticly and aestheticly like other design areas. At this stage, we aim to bring our students to the forefront as designers who are able to produce contents that are specific to the fields, develop ideas, develop storytelling and editing skills, and improve them intellectually, beyond presenting the technologies of the field.

Graduates of the Department of Cartoon and Animation could find employement as a animator, concept designer, character designer , cartoon director, screenwriter, producer in sectoral institutions and organisations whom number is increasing constantly . They could also work in the fields of digital media with their expertise in 3D Modeling and Application, Computer Aided Image-Visual Effect (CGI) production , 2D-3D Render, Motion Capture and Motion Track, as well as create their own creative digital platforms with their technical competencies.
